Entry graduate-level survey of research methods with a dual emphasis on 1) comprehension of educational research literature (teachers as consumers of educational research) and 2) designing and conducting classroom-based research (teachers as producers of educational research).
TEAC-A705 Multiculturalism and Social Justice, 3 crs.
The Master of Arts in Teaching is a 36-hour program which includes the basic hours required for State teacher-certification: Additional courses in research and literacy encourage academic rigor, and distinguish the program from the undergraduate program. The program is directed by the Faculty and Staff in the Office of Teacher Education.

This course focuses on the exploration of the nature of theory development in nursing, analysis of selected nursing and related theories, and the relevance of theory to research and practice in nursing. It is also designed to help the baccalaureate nurse transition to the role of advanced nursing practice.

Tuition Refund
The university’s general policy on refunds is described below. Federal statute requires an alternate calculation for recipients of federal Title IV financial assistance. More information on the alternate calculation for federal aid can be obtained from the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid.
Although Loyola has no monthly payment plan of its own, students may subscribe to a plan from an outside vendor selected by Loyola. Current acceptable plans are listed on our website. All plans will offer families several monthly payment options to help make education expenses more affordable.
All enrolled students are assessed tuition, fees, residence hall charges, and board plans as applicable prior to the beginning of the semester. All payments are due no later than:
