Federal Financial Aid Programs

Federal financial aid programs assume students will complete a full semester. Aid eligibility must be recalculated if a student totally withdraws or is dismissed from the university before 60 percent of the semester has been completed. Aid will be adjusted based on the number of days in the semester that have elapsed before the student indicated an intent to withdraw to a university official. Additional information on the calculation of refunds (with examples) and the manner in which refunds will be applied against the financial assistance received, may be obtained from the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid.
